- Anxiety and Depression
- Blended Families
- Identity Exploration
- Adjustment/Life Transitions
- Grief/ Loss
- ADHD
What to Expect if We Work Together
When working with me, clients can expect a flexible, person-centered approach that honors their unique experiences, values, and goals. I bring a warm, grounded presence to our sessions, creating a safe space where clients are able to feel heard and respected. At the same time, I offer gentle but meaningful challenges to support growth and deepen self-awareness. My work is trauma-informed, identity affirming, and guided by a systemic perspective, which means I consider the broader relational and contextual factors that shape your life. I aim to provide an experience that is focused on holistic wellness—supporting not just emotional and relational health, but also the mind-body connection, lifestyle, and overall well-being. Together, we will work to explore patterns, build insight, and create new individual and relational experiences to promote lasting and meaningful change.
About Me
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in the state of Alabama (A391). This means I have been board approved to practice therapy under the supervision of my clinical supervisor, Miranda Newman. I hold a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Science, both from Auburn University. While obtaining my education, I worked as a relationship educator for couples and youth. I also completed a pre-degree clinical internship at a therapy clinic on campus serving individuals, couples, and families as well as a community mental health center providing child, adolescent, and family therapy services. I am also a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Creed and Reggie. I love being outdoors (especially near a body of water), exercising, thrifting, and (unfortunately) reality TV. I am someone who needs equal parts of socializing and alone time to recharge, so you can either find me out at dinner or a concert with friends, or listening to a Goose band album while I cook.
