Areas of Clinical Emphasis
As a therapist at Auburn Psychological Wellness Center, I provide individual therapy services to adolescents and young adults. My scope of practice covers a wide variety of concerns, but I have a particular interest in helping clients in the following areas:
- ADHD and Autism
- OCD and Anxiety Disorders
- Life Transitions
- Academic Concerns
- Identity Exploration and Self-Esteem
What to Expect If We Work Together
I like to approach therapy with a person-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed lens, while considering the unique backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences of my clients. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship for facilitating growth and collaboration during our time together. A priority of mine is to support clients in developing healthier thought patterns and behaviors through cognitive behavioral techniques, while providing tools to develop coping skills. I am especially passionate about helping manage neurodivergence and navigating the challenges this can bring through psychoeducation, skill-building, and empowerment. I believe self-care is key to promoting mindfulness and reducing stress.
