Counseling Provider
Areas of Clinical Emphasis
I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. I provide individual psychotherapy, couples counseling, and family therapy. My scope of practice at Auburn Psychological Wellness Center covers a wide variety of concerns, but I have a particular interest in helping clients in the following areas:
- Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Couple and Relationship Concerns
- Anxiety and Depression
- Addiction/Substance Use Concerns
- Identity Exploration
- Adjustment/Life Stage Concerns
What to Expect if We Work Together
My philosophy of care is to work collaboratively with each client to help them reach their goals and achieve a sense of mental, emotional, and relational well-being. I am trauma conscious, culturally responsive, and LGBTQ+ affirming. Related, I value learning about each of my clients’ unique life experiences and exploring the inherent strengths that each person brings to therapy. I use a variety of therapy modalities and enjoy helping my clients discover which skills and strategies work best for them. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful therapy, and I work hard to make sure that my clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to make change. Deciding to engage in therapy is a wonderful and momentous decision, and I feel honored to work with each person who walks into my office. I look forward to being part of your journey toward wellness!
