I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my PhD from The University of New Mexico and have worked with adults, youth and couples. I’m a professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling, accepting clients experiencing difficulties in living a meaningful and fulfilling life. I can work with youth and adults on a variety of goals that include issues of identity, vocation and maintaining meaningful healthy relationships with others. Couples often seek counseling to address interpersonal and familial challenges that arise within the context of their marriage/relationship. I work with couples seeking to make the most of their relationship and achieve optimal relationship outcomes. I employ an existential person-centered approach to healing. This process employs nonjudgmental exploration of client experiences toward the aim of achieving a deeper understanding of oneself and successful acquisition of desired goals.
I am a telehealth-only provider for Auburn Psychological Wellness Center. This means that I conduct all of my counseling sessions using a secure video platform. Clients attend their video appointments from the convenience of their own home or other private location. Clients must be physically located in Alabama in order to receive services.
